Sacred Mothers
Honoring
For so long in our patriarchal culture birth has not been seen as sacred. It has been taken away from what is natural and beautiful, and given to the medical world. In the '50's when a woman was pregnant it was called "her confinement" and was linked with shame about our sexuality. I wish to honor our bodies and our sexuality.
